Oversaw design development for female Japanese painter Chihiro Saekiʼs promotional posters for the museum, merchandise and an art book of her collection of works.
Precious bamboo washi paper that is now only made by a handful of craftsmen in Yamaguchi prefecture, was used in the cover for the art book. Our design endeavors were not only about the works itself but incorporated the artistʼs essence, connotations of her essays and the allegorical background behind her creations.
